Thank you so much! In the first 10 days of the Cosmosphere's crowdfunding campaign (inspired by camp!), we've reached 30% or our goal! But we can't get to the finish line without your help!
Please invite your friends, family and co-workers to consider supporting the Cosmosphere and our efforts to inspire the next generation of explorers, scientists, engineers and dreamers.
Speaking of our efforts to inspire—camp at the Cosmosphere is in full swing! This summer, more than 1,000 students will pass through our doors to experience camp in a way only the Cosmosphere can provide. From programming robots, to getting SCUBA certified and learning how to work as a team, our campers do it all!
But don't take our word for it....check out these photos and see for yourself!
What's $10 worth at the Cosmosphere? How about a 5 lb. box of modeling clay for Lunar Base Camp.
What will you do with $20 this summer? At the Cosmosphere, that could translate to super cool mask supplies for Alien Adventure Camp!
Each year, about 150 campers experience scuba training with Space 201 at a cost of around $45 each.
Camp food, you've got to love it! It takes about $85 to feed one camper for a week.
T-shirts from past Cosmosphere Camps have been spotted decades later in some pretty cool places. $90 means 15 campers will be sporting nifty camp shirts of their own this summer.
Spending the night in the museum isn't just a story! If you're a fourth or fifth grader, it's the thrill of Alien Adventure Camp. Three days. One overnight. $169 that ignites the lift off of learning and summer fun.
What will it take to make a Mars habitat come together? For the Mars Habitat at the Cosmosphere, this year's list of supplies came in at almost exactly $200! Just another little out-of-this-world thing your money might support when you help fund the operations of a place as cool as the Cosmosphere!
The Rocket Launch. A quintessential Cosmosphere Camp experience. It takes $2,010 to supply a summer's worth of rockets for the Space 101. Your support will help us continue to make dreams take flight at the Cosmosphere.
